Overview

As technology advances rapidly, the environment suffers from considerable damage. How will humans survive in the future? An interactive exhibition within the TSG at the University of Sydney showcases the future of architecture through the use of AR, allowing people to experience the symbiotic relationship between humans and other species.

Concept

In light of the ongoing degradation of our local environment, symbiosis between humans and non-human beings emerges as the key to creating a sustainable future. Research has shown that symbiotic relationships between humans and other species can optimize resource conservation and protect against species extinction. The exhibition features the involvement of pigeons, aquatic plants, and carp in sustainable lifestyles, illustrating how they interact with human life. Through AR technology, visitors can witness simulated organisms and environments, providing a glimpse into the future of living.

User Experience

AR-simulated symbiotic architecture offers an immersive experience of a futuristic life infused with technology. The storyline, reminiscent of a game, allows for a better understanding of the relationships within the food chain and their contribution to sustainable development.
